Telangana state IT & Industries minister Mr KTR who is on an official tour to France on invitation from the French government met its Minister for Digital Affairs, Mr Henry Wordier on the first day on Wednesday.
India Deputy Chief of Mission K M Prafulla Chandra, Telangana IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Digital Media Director Konatham Dileep, Aviation Director Praveen and others accompanied the minister.
Mr KTR explained to Mr Henry about the initiatives being taken up by the Telangana government through its industry-friendly policies. He said there were chances for collaboration in Innovation, Digitilisation, Open Data among others between Telangana state and France. The Telangana government was encouraging start-ups and innovations, he apprised the French minister.
Mr KTR is on tour in Paris to take part in the summit “Ambition India -2021”. Mr K T Rama Rao would be delivering the keynote address at the French Upper House (Senate) on “Growth – drafting future of Indo-French relations in post Covid era” on Friday. Later he will interact with several industrialists and CEOs of various companies to brief them about the congenial atmosphere prevailing in Telangana state for investments.
The conference is being attended by over 700 delegates. The Upper House (Senate) of France has 348 members.
