Warangal hots up as TDP Goons start attacks

The situation in Warangal district turned tense as the Chandra Dandu – a private security group formed by Telugu Desam party started its attacks on Telangana activists yesterday night.

Apparently, the TDP has hired about 3000 goons to provide security to Chandra Babu’s meeting.

Yakaiah, a youngster from kodandapur village in Warangal district was attacked by TDP goons yesterday night. Yakaiah was conducting a dandora in his village, asking people to boycott Chandra Babu’s tour. Yakaih had a severe head injury and is currently undergoing treatment in MGM hospital in Warangal.

TRS, TJAC and KUJAC have severely condemned this attack and warned TDP MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao that a fitting lesson would be taught to him and his master Chandra Babu.

Meanwhile several senior leaders of TRS and TJAC have toured the Warangal district yesterday. The BJP, CPI ML New Democracy, Doctors JAC and Lawyers JAC have also conducted protest programs in view of Babu’s tour.

TRS MLA Harish Rao conducted the Palle Baata program in Station Ghanpur. He spoke at length about Chandra Babu’s 9 year anti-farmer rule.

In Warangal, TRS MLA Eetela Rajendar addressed the gathering of TRSV – the student wign of the party. He asked why does Babu need hundreds of police and private security to tour this region. TRS Ex Mp Boinaplly Vinod Kumar also addressed the meeting.

Meanwhile, the police have already started making elaborate security arrangements for Chandra Babu’s tour. 144 Section has been imposed in Palakurthi town. Several TRS and TJAC leaders have already been served notices and most of them might be kept under house arrest anytime.
