Minister for Finance and Civil Supplies Etala Rajender has said that the Telangana State government was taking all measures for bringing happiness in the lives of the people, who were harassed and neglected in the united Andhra Pradesh.
Participating in the ‘Mission Kakatiya’ programme in the Gattubuthkur village of Gangadhara mandal in Karimnagar district on Monday, the Minister said that the earlier governments neglected the plight of the people.
The TRS government was only taking up welfare and development programmes for the wellbeing of people, he noted.
Listing out various welfare schemes such as increase of pension amount, honorarium to the beedi workers, providing fine rice to the students, etc., he said that they were also providing 24 hour power supply and assured to provide nine hour uninterrupted power to the farmers in the day time from the coming year.
He also called upon the employees to work with dedication and serve the people.
Choppadandi legislator Bodige Shoba said that they were taking up revival of the village tank at the cost of Rs.141 lakh.
The Minister also inaugurated the CC roads and other developmental works in the village.
