The BJP National leadership is facing an embarrassing situation with its Telangana unit virtually rising in a revolt against the TDP alliance.
District presidents from ten Telangana districts wrote a strongly worded letter to their national leadership opposing the alliance with TDP.
The Telangana leaders fear that any alliance with TDP – which is a known anti-Telangana party, would cost them dearly in the elections.
Even state BJP president Kishan Reddy is reportedly unhappy over the alliance with TDP.
On the other hand, several BJP & TDP leaders are already filing nominations and are openly issuing statements against each other.
It is clear from all these happenings that the so-called alliance between TDP & BJP might remain on paper and not translate into either votes or seats for these two parties.
