As expected, the Telangana congress leaders’ much hyped Delhi Yatra proved to be a flop show. While the Union Home Minister P Chidambaram completely ignored the delegation by talking for a couple of minutes, Pranabh Mukherjee just said that a ‘final decision’ will be taken after Sonia Gandhi returns from her foreign trip.
Even after Chidamabaram left, The T Congress leaders spent over one hour in the same conference room. The Congress representatives were extremely disappointed with the response of the Home Minister. Some of them even proposed resignations.
Later in the day, they met Pranabh Mukherjee, who seemed to have pacified the angry T Cong men. In the end, the trip turned to be yet another delaying tactic by the Congress high command
