Minister Mr KTR demands national status for irrigation projects in Telangana.

Telangana minister Mr KT Rama Rao urged the Central government to accord national status to Kaleswaram and Palamuru irrigation projects in Telangana.
He said several times the request was made by the Telangana government but the central government did not heed to the request.
The Minister wanted the centre to refer the issue to the steering committee and let it discuss at its ensuing meeting this week.
The central government has been discriminating against Telangana and never heeded to its requests. The BJP is eyeing for power in Telangana and is trying to put the ruling TRS in trouble to gain political mileage at every instance.
