Telangana IT minister Mr KTR has urged the union foreign minister to arrange for special flights to bring back the students stranded in Ukraine.
In his Twitter message he promised to bear the expenditure for the purpose. It may be noted that hundreds of Telugu students pursuing medicine and engineering courses were caught up in war between Russia and Ukraine. They were unable to come back as Ukraine closed the airspace. Following desperate appeals by students there and parents here, Mr KTR has taken a decision to help them out and appealed to the union government in this regard.
