The IT minister Mr K T Rama Rao received the award presented by the Economic Times at its Digitech Conclave in New Delhi.
The award was in recognition of services being offered by the Telangana government through `Mee Seva’.
The prestigious business magazine Economic Times has undertaken field study and research of services being offered by various governments in the country. It has been found that Mee Seva portal of Telangana government was doing excellent in serving the citizens. It has selected the service in Ease of Doing Business for the presentation of the award at its `Digitech Conclave 2022’.
Speaking on the occasion Mr Rama Rao apprised the gathering about Mee Seva and how it was transformed over the years. The Telangana government was moving forward through mobile-based services, contactless governance, T Wallet, TSiPASS through which one could apply online and secure permission within 15 days. TSBPASS helps secure permissions within 21 days of applying for permission to start a business.
The minister pointed out that the Telangana government always stood in the rankings being given by the Central government in Ease of Doing Business. He thanked the management of the Economic Times for recognising the efforts of the Telangana government.
IT and INdustries principal secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Telangana Bhavan resident commissioner Gaurav Uppal and others were present.
