KTR takes a dig at BJP as India slips down in Global Hunger Index

TRS working president, minister KT Rama Rao took a dig at the union government. Reacting to India slipping from 101st to 107th rank in Global Hunger Index, KTR said, “Yet another day & yet another amazing achievement of NPA government.”

The minister also remarked on Twitter that the report might now be labeled anti-Indian. He wrote, “Instead of accepting failure, I am sure BJP  will dismiss the report as anti-Indian now.”

India now ranks 107 out of 121 countries on the Global Hunger Index. The country fares worse than all countries in South Asia barring Afghanistan.

The Global Hunger Index (GHI) is a tool for measuring and tracking hunger at global, regional, and national levels.
