Though the Congress has fielded its candidate Palvai Sravanthi, there was talk the senior leaders of her party are not cooperating. They are indirectly supporting BJP candidate K Rajagopal Reddy. His brother who is the local MP Mr K Venkat Reddy is staying away from campaigning though he was drafted as star campaigner by the party. Other senior leaders are silent over the issue. They are also angry with TPCC president Mr Revanth Reddy for his one upmanship.
Meanwhile, minister KTR’s remarks that two MPs of Congress would likely leave the party during Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra has created flutter in the party. Mr Venkat Reddy and N Uttam Kumar Reddy are denying such plans but the former is likely to join the BJP as per public talk.
The Congress leaders are acting against their own party and are likely to repeat what they did in Huzurabad. There the party lost deposit as they indirectly helped BJP’s candidate Eatala Rajender there. They are trying to damage the ruling TRS party at the cost of their own party. Buy they will not succeed in their attempts as the TRS party enjoys massive public patronage.
The Congress party already lost its relevance while the BJP leaders make tall claims when do not have cadre in Telangana.
