The TRS president and chief minister Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao has urged people to remember how the separate state was achieved.
Achieving statehood to the neglected Telangana region was no easy task. It took 60 years in the first phase and 14 years of the democratic movement by TRS in the second phase in recent times. Scores of people died for the cause and I undertook fast unto death ready to sacrifice my life for the cause.
Such a hard-earned fledgling and progressive state should not go into the hands of unscrupulous elements like BJP. How dare they come with a flag as the convoy of chief minister passes on the road, he posed.
The BJP leaders in the state were turning very violent with the least regard for the law and order. They left all their so-called culture. They were behaving like goons with the only objective of coming to power in Telangana.
Mr KCR said this was the time the people should be cautious against such unruly elements.
The TRS party promised and delivered separate Telangana. Even after that, it was the TRS government that is doing better than the BJP-ruled states in the country.
Now eyeing for power, the BJP leaders both at Centre and in the state were trying to disturb and create unrest in Telangana. It should not be allowed at any cost.
It was in the hands of the people to chase away the cunning foxes like BJP, the chief minister said.
