Both Legislative council and Legislative Assembly could not transact any business today as Seemandhra MLCs and MLAs continued to disrupt the houses.
Assembly Speaker Nandendla Manohar had adjourned the house for 2 times in the morning. But, Seemandhra MLAs continued to surround the podium and shout slogans.
The Speaker then adjourned the house for tomorrow. Same scenes were repeated in Legislative Council too.
TRS MLA Harish Rao appealed to Seemandhra MLAs to stop disrupting the house and start discussion on the statehood bill. He said Seemandhra leaders should ask what their state wants if they really care for their people.
