BAC decides to discuss Telangana bill from tomorrow

The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of AP state Assembly has decided to start the discussion on Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Bill 2013 from tomorrow morning.

The BAC meeting which extended for about two hours saw intense debate as Seemandhra leaders were reluctant to start the discussion on statehood bill. Seemandhra Ministers Anam Ramnarayan Reddy and Raghuveera Reddy insisted on concluding the current session of Assembly tomorrow and calling a special session in January to discuss the Telangana bill.

However Telangana leaders Damodara Rajanarasimha and Sridhar Babu severely opposed this suggestion. They demanded that the house should take up discussion on the bill from tomorrow.

Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu of TDP staged a walkout unhappy with the BAC decision to start discussion on Telangana Bill.

The Assembly Question Hour would be cancelled from tomorrow and the house is expected to take up the discussion on Telangana Bill from tomorrow 9 AM.
