Chief Minister Mr KCR surprised the farmers in Gadwal district by visiting their fields.
During his visit to the district, he suddenly stopped by the roadside and went into agricultural fields.
He interacted with farmers Venkataiah, Krishnamma and others inquiring about their farming.
Mr KCR told them that the centre was refusing to buy paddy from summer and hence the farmers should opt for other crops.
He advised them to cultivate Bengal gram, groundnut, sun flower, moong dal and others that fetch good remuneration.
Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy and others were present.
