February 18 was the day on which the Telangana bill was passed in the Lok Sabha paving the way for the formation of Telangana state.
Remembering the day, MLC K Kavitha described it as the historic day in Telangana’s history. KCR’s efforts proved that any democratically led mass movement would always win and his grit and determination in achieving Telangana state amply proved it. She remembered days of ordeals days and experiences of the prolonged separate movement via Twitter.
Meanwhile, Finance minister T Harish Rao too said nine years ago on this day the Telangana bill was passed. It was made possible only by visionary leader Mr KCR. This was a day of people’s victory, he pointed out.
Several BRS leaders remembered and cherished the occasion.
