Another landmark of Hyderabad – the Police Command Control Centre to be commissioned on August 4.

The prestigious and ultra-modern facility for the police department – the Integrate Police Command Control Centre (CCC) will be inaugurated on August 4th by the chief minister Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao.

This facility enables the police authorities to inspect every village in the state from the centre.

It was built at Banjara Hills on seven-acre land with an estimated Rs 585 crore. It has 20 floors. It has separate chambers for Home Minister, Chief Secretary, and DGP. It has a control room and a data centre. It will also house the Hyderabad police commissionerate and has a place for 1,000 personnel to work simultaneously. It will work round the clock.

Roads & Buildings minister Mr V Prashanth Reddy inspected the centre yesterday and reviewed the ongoing finishing works.

The majestic building has a portico, grand entry, a police museum, and an auditorium.

Since the month is an auspicious month, the minister said six integrated collector offices would be inaugurated by the chief minister Mr KCR. They are Nizamabad, Jagitial, Vikarabad, Peddapalli, Mahabubnagar, and Ranga Reddy districts. To date, seven collectorates have been inaugurated.

According to Minister Mr Prashanth Reddy, the new Secretariat building and Telangana martyrs memorial would be inaugurated on the Dasara festival by the chief minister.

He wanted the executing agencies to engage more labour and ensure they are completed within the stipulated time.
