TRS has decided to severely oppose any conditions on the status of Hyderabad. The party is planning to move a resolution to this effect in its state executive meeting.
TRS sources revealed that they would not accept any move by Union Government to keep the Law & Order, Revenue or Municipal Administraion under Delhi rule. They say that any such move would result in severe backlash from the people of the region.
TRS leadership feels that there is no rationale for Delhi control over Hyderabad. They say imposing any restrictions on Hyderabad citing some perceived insecurity is ridiculous.
Important TRS leaders met at KCR’s house on Thursday and discussed latest political happenings and the party strategy that should be adopted in the coming days.
TRS would discuss further on this issue in today’s meeting and pass a resolution to this effect.
