Who is the ‘Big Brother’ protecting Telangana Congress leaders from ED?: KTR

BRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) has once again launched sharp criticisms against the Congress and BJP, questioning their silence over recent Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids in the state. He posed a direct question to both parties, asking, “Who is the ‘Big Brother’ protecting Congress leaders in Telangana from the ED?”

KTR pointed out that while Congress and BJP leaders put on a show of rivalry in Delhi, they seem to share a hidden bond in Telangana. “Despite ED raids on Congress leaders in the state, BJP leaders have maintained a conspicuous silence,” he remarked. He emphasized that the people deserve to know who is shielding Congress leaders from these investigations.

Referring to the saying that “reality is stranger than fiction,” KTR expressed his belief that this holds true for the events unfolding in Telangana. He cited two major instances:

1. A raid by the ED at the residence of a wealthy Congress minister in Telangana two weeks ago, which, according to media reports, revealed hundreds of crores in cash. Despite this, neither the Congress, BJP, nor the ED has made any statement.

2. The ED’s revelation that ₹40 crore, linked to the Valmiki scam in Karnataka, was funneled into Telangana by the Congress during the recent Parliamentary elections. Despite this serious claim, there have been no arrests or formal investigations.

KTR questioned the motives behind these delays, suggesting a deeper political conspiracy. “The public needs to know who is the ‘Big Brother’ ensuring that Congress leaders in Telangana are immune from ED scrutiny,” he asserted.
