The 24-storeyed multi-specialty hospital coming up in Warangal city would be ready for Dasara festival, said the health Minister T Harish Rao. He visited the hospital on Saturday and took stock of the situation. He interacted with the executive agency experts and asked them employee addition staff to expedite the construction.
Another dream project of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, ho took a bold decision to shift the Central Prison from that Prime spot and decided to construct the hospital for larger interest of people. His efforts now results in presence of one doctor for every 19 patients.
This Warangal hospital is coming up on 14.4 lakh square feet with an estimate of Rs. 1100 crore. It will have 24 floors and 35 medical wings including organ transplant and an exclusive ward for thalassemia patients.
The hospital is spread over an area of 73 acres. Once complete, it will serve patients from all North Telangana districts who need not go to Hyderabad for advanced medical care.
