The TSRTC managing director VC Sajjanar caught the eye of the public by surprisingly travelling in a bus in the city. He was posted as MD of TSRTC recently that has been in bad shape owing to increased private and individual transportation. The corporation suffered losses and despite the best efforts of the state government it went down day by day with hikes in fuel prices as well. Mr Sajjanar said he wanted to convey the message that RTC buses are safest to travel and urged people to prefer them to reach their place of work or market and schools. Thus he wanted the people to patronise the RTC and bring it back on rails. The TSRTC is the largest public transport corporation in Telangana state and is engaged in massive operations such as transporting lakhs of people to historic Sammakka and Sarakka Jatara in Medaram in Warangal.
