In view of omicron threat and corona fear the Municipal department has cancelled the weekly cultural events at Charminar and Tankbund.
The state government launched ek shaam Charminar je nam and Sunday fundamentals events banning vehicular traffic at two venues. The events provided much sought relief to city people as they offered entertainment and variety food and leisure.
However due to the corona variant omicron threat, it was decided to cancel temporarily to avoid large gatherings.
