TRS party working president Mr KTR takes a dig at Mr Amith Shah.

Like the pot calling the kettle black, the BJP leader and Union Home Minister Mr Amith Shah talked about dynasty rule in Telangana.

Taking strong exception to the remarks, the TRS leader and IT minister Mr KTR made comments in a lighter vein stating that Mr Amith Shah’s son worked hard and with talent became BCCI secretary. And he came here to Munugodu to support another leader whose brother is a Member of Parliament and his wife fielded in the MLC elections. “Now Mr Amith Shah teaches gospel about ending family rule in Telangana,” Mr KTR said in his Twitter message.

It may be noted that the BJP leader kicked off his party’s campaign by taking part in a public meeting at Munugudu a day after the TRS supremo and chief minister Mr KCR addressed a massive public meeting.

Mr KCR posed several questions to BJP leaders but Mr Amith Shah did not answer a single question. He was confined to his rhetoric of family rule and corruption in Kaleswaram project. He neither promised anything nor said anything new to the people of Munugodu.

The public attendance at the BJP meeting was also thin as the local leaders tried their best to ensure big crowds. They mobilised people from other constituencies to put up a show but in vain.

Several leaders like Vijaya Shanthi were seen sulked as they were not getting due prominence within the party.

The others who spoke from the state unit too did not enthuse crowds who remained mute disapproving criticism against Mr KCR and his family.
