Telangana statehood issued continued to rock the AP state assembly even on the second day. As soon as the house convened TRS, CPI, BJP and few TDP MLAs rushed into the well and started raising Jai Telangana slogans. They demanded that a resolution on Telangana be tabled in the house.
TRS MLA Harish Rao and independent MLA Nagam Janardhan Reddy castigated the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy for his irresponsible behavior on this issue.
The interesting aspect of today’s proceedings was a few Telangana Congress MLAs joining the TRS, BJP and CPI during the protests in the house.
The house was adjourned a couple of times before the speaker finally adjourned the house to tomorrow. However, the TRS MLAs staged a sit-in in front of the speaker’s chamber.
TRS MLA K. Tarakarama Rao said that this government is inhuman as it did not even express condolences to the fallen Telangana martyrs.
