The Telangana Panchayat Raj wing has been declared best in the country and centre gave first rank with cent percent auditing.
The IT minister Mr KTR congratulated PR minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao and all the field staff for achieving the honor.
Mr KTR said likewise the centre should also release enough funds rather than just showering praises and giving awards for TRS government performance.
PR minister Mr Dayakar Rao said there are 12,769 gram panchayats, 540 mandals and 32 zilla parishads,
He said the ranks and rewards were only possible with the instructions of Chief Minister Mr KCR who planned and implemented the scheme. “There were no burial grounds, no parks, no nurseries, no staff and equipment in gram Panchayat offices. Now all problems are solved and sanitation has improved. There is more greenery than ever before in villages. It is Mr KCR who planned and did it all, he said.
Mr Dayakar Rao said there were times when people suffered and fought over burial or cremation of dead in villages. Now all problems are solved and sanitation is improved in villages. It is Mr KCR who asked villagers to demolish all dilapidated houses and construct new or apply for a double bed room scheme.
Mr KCR time and again said the face villages should change, they should not desolate and forlorn.
People, BJP and Congress leaders should remember that Telangana statehood did not come just like that. It is Mr KCR who toured all villages for 14 years and knows all ethos and culture. He ate and slept in every home during his agitation for separate Telangana.
Keeping in view all these, Mr KTR asked the centre rather than ranks and awards why not the centre give enough funds and projects to state.
