“Andhra Medical College (Visakhapatnam), Kurnool Medical College (Kurnool), Siddhartha Medical College (Vijayawada) were given an additional quota of 50 seats each from this year. But due to sheer negligence of the Minister for Medical Education and other Seema Andhra officials, who failed to pursue the case properly with Medical Council of India, Telangana colleges namely Osmania and Gandhi Medical Colleges (Hyderabad), Kakatiya Medical College (Warangal) were deprived of a total of 150 seats,” he pointed out.
The TRS was ready for open debate on the issue with the champions of Samaikya Andhra movement like Lagadapati Rajgopal, Parkal Prabhakar and even the concerned Minister Kondru Murali, he added. [The Hans India]
