Telangana model of development needed for Maharashtra: Manik Kadam

BRS Kisan Cell Maharashtra unit president Manik Kadam has challenged the MLAs, MPs, and ministers in the state of Maharashtra to come for an open debate on the development model of Telangana state.
The political leaders in Maharashtra are treating the people as a vote bank but not intending to do any good to them.

The Telangana government is offering free 24-hour power supply to farmers. The leaders of Maharashtra should visit Telangana and study the initiatives taken by the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for the good of farmers there. “One should talk only after undertaking a field-level visit to Telangana,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Sambhaji Brigade, an outfit named after Chhatrapati Shivaji’s son Sambhaji, said it will work towards strengthening the BRS party in Maharashtra. The leaders of the brigade met chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and explained that they have a strong network of 1600 members from the block level. They said they will contest the elections in Maharashtra due in 2024.

The BRS which was founded with the objective of adopting a new model of development and for the welfare of farmers should extend its activity throughout the country, they opined.
