The whole Telangana region erupted in protests against the mischievous moves by Congress party to include 2 Rayalaseema districts in Telangana. Ten districts of Telangana region rose up in a fresh phase of agitation to stall the sinister conspiracies of Congress party.
Nerve center of Telangana agitation, Osmania University also erupted in protests against the senseless proposal by Congress party. OUJAC conducted a huge rally from Arts College to NCC gate. The students and police face-off led to tension at NCC gate.
Students expressed anger on Telangana Congress leaders Jaipal Reddy, Jana Reddy and Damodara Rajanarasimha, for their luke warm response against the Rayala Telangana conspiracy.
In state Secretariat, employees from Telangana region conducted a dharna and said they would oppose Rayala Telangana move by Congress. They extended solidarity to the bandh on 5th Dec.
In Mahabubabad town, students protested by sitting on railway tracks.
TRSV students conducted rallies in dozens of towns in ten districts of Telangana. The TJAC constituent organizations including employees, lawyers, doctors and trade union activists launched rallies, rasta rokos and dharnas in Nizamabad, Adilabad, Khammam, Nalgonda, , Hyderabad, MahabubNagar, Medak, Karimnagar, Ranga Reddy and Warangal districts.
Telangana Jagruthi activists also held rallies at several towns in Telangana.
TRS MLA KT Rama Rao participated in a dharna held by TRSV at Gun Park, and warned the T-Congress leaders against supporting Rayala Telangana. KTR said the people of Telangana would revolt against Congress party if it tries to impose Rayala Telangana on them.
Meanwhile the Telangana JAC has held a press conference in New Delhi and warned the Congress party of severe consequences if it went ahead with the Rayala Telangana idea. Prof Kodandaram said that the Telangana Congress leaders would be held responsible for any missteps on Statehood bill at this juncture. He said JAC would extend its full support to tomorrow’s bandh call given by KCR.
The state intelligence department has reportedly sent a note to union government that Rayala Telangana idea will boomerang on both sides and would lead to severe situation in both Telangana and Rayalaseema.
