TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao has called for a Telangana bandh in protest against the Congress party’s Rayala Telangana conspiracy.
Speaking to mediamen today evening, KCR came down heavily on the leaks given by Congress highcommand to select media houses on Rayala Telangana. He said no Telangana activist would ever accept this senseless idea.
“Who has asked for Rayala Telangana? Where has it come from? We are totally opposed to it. We demanded only a separate Telangana state with 10 districts, with Hyderabad as its capital and without any restrictions on Hyderabad,” said KCR.
He informed the media that protest rallies would be taken up all over Telangana on 4th December. KCR also called for a Bandh on 5th Dec in protest against the Rayala Telangana conspiracy.
TRS leadership is planning to meet on 6th Dec to decide the future course of action.
