Thousands of folk artists participated in the Dappula Daruvu rally held by Arunodaya Saanskruthika Samakhya in Hyderabad on July 26th.
The streets surrounding Baghlingampally wore a colorful look with the artists playing Batukamma, Bonalu, Veedhi Bhagavatam, oggu dollu, and kolatam. Several tribal dance forms like dhimsa, gondu, lambadi and gussadi were also showcased at the rally. An interesting aspect of this rally was the participation of several artists from Andhra and Rayalaseema regions.
