As the clock ticked 11.30 am, the whole of Telangana froze for a few minutes. All the people including the chief minister Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao recited the national anthem in unison.
As the police sirens blew, all people stood at attention including those riding bikes and cars on busy roads. They expressed their patriotic spirit by joining the call of the chief minister.
The chief minister’s presence at Abids in Hyderabad motivated all the people to join the noble mission of reciting the National anthem simultaneously across the State.
In districts, school children were moblised at important traffic junctions who came in colourful uniforms to sing the national anthem showing their respect to the motherland.
The Police, education, and revenue officials did an excellent job ensuring the smooth conduct of the mass recital of the national anthem all over the state.
