The Telangana state Assembly is meeting today and the session will commence with the Governor’s speech at 12.10 noon. Later, Business Advisory Committee would meet to decide on a number of days and other business of the House.
The state government proposes to table the budget for 2023-2024 on February 6. On February 5, the state cabinet would meet where chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his cabinet colleagues approve the budget.
Later, Mr KCR would head to Nanded to offer prayers at the Gurudwara and address a public meeting. Scores of local leaders are expected to join the BRS in his presence. Minister A Indrakaran Reddy who is overseeing the arrangements for KCR visit said that the BRS is the only alternative now to both BJP and Congress that failed to fulfil the aspirations of people of the country.
