Telangana Electricity Employees Joint Action Committee (TEEJAC) conducted a mega blood donation camp at Telangana Chowrasta (Mint compound) in Hyderabad. The camp was organized to express solidarity to the general strike being planned by Telangana government employees from 17th August.
Speaking at the camp, TJAC chairman Prof Kodandaram said that the Seemandhra government has lost its moral right to rule Telangana. TEEJAC Convener Raghu told the gathering that the electricity employees would take an active part in the general strike. He said that their slogan would be “Cooperation to Telangana people and Non-cooperation to anti-Telangana forces”.
Telangana Praja Front leaders Gaddar and Ved Kumar also attended the mega blood camp. Other leaders who attended the camp included Sandhya from POW, Kalvakuntla Kavitha from Telangana Jagruthi and rebel TDP leaders Nagam Janardhan Reddy and Pocharam Srinivas Reddy.
