The Telangana statehood bill finally reached Hyderabad in a special BSF Flight.
Joint Secretary of Home Department Suresh Kumar accompanied the bill copies from New Delhi.
Suresh Kumar handed over the bill copies to State Chief Secretary PK Mahonty.
President Pranab Mukherjee has given six weeks time to state assembly to give its opinion. But in all probability, the state assembly will send back the bill much earlier.
Chief Secretary Mohanty is expected to meet CM Kiran in a shortwhile and hand over the bill copy to him. Later Mohanty will meet Governor Narasimhan and also give him a copy of the bill.
Congress in-charge Digvijaya Singh is camping in Hyderabad and is striving hard to get the Telangana bill discussed appropriately and sent back to President at the earliest.
