The Union Government is planning to hold special session of Parliament in February first week to clear the Telangana statehood bill.
The central government has decided to go ahead with the bill irrespective of state Assembly discussing it or not.
With YSRCP and TDP deciding to block the discussion on the statehood bill, the union government has chosen to move ahead.
Political observers feel that YSRCP and TDP are trying to outsmart each other and thus no meaningful discussion will happen in the Assembly session beginning from January 3rd.
It is expected that the special session of Parliament will be held for 3-4 days in February first week.
