The Ruia Group has expressed its interest in setting up a railway manufacturing facility in association with a leading European Union firm. It also announced it will chalk out a Smart City project near the Financial District at Gachibowli.
Ruia Group Chairman Pawan Kumar Ruia and Director (Operations) Kiran met Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao here on Thursday to discuss the proposals.
The Chief Minister informed Ruia that Hyderabad is building one of the biggest Metro Rail projects in the country. He assured of all help for the group, a Government release said.
“He directed the officials to discuss the Ruia group proposals further to find out their needs in setting up the projects,” he said.
