News emanating from New Delhi indicate that the current Governor of Andhra Pradesh, ESL Narasimhan might be made the joint governor for Telangana and residual Andhra Pradesh state.
Narasimhan is currently camping in New Delhi and is meeting GoM members and also UPA top bosses. He is also slated to meet the President Pranab Mukherjee today evening.
Sources indicate that the central government is toying with the idea of having a common governor because both the states would be sharing Hyderabad as common capital. The union government also believes that such a move might also help both the governments to operate seamlessly from Hyderabad.
