Motkupalli Narasimhulu, who has been spewing venom over the Telangana statehood movement from past several weeks, was obstructed by Telangana activists in Mothkur town today. Motkupalli has been facing the heat from Telangana activists ever since he began touring his constituency.
Representatives of TJAC and TRS threw eggs and chappals on his vehicle. They shouted “Jai Telangana” slogans and termed Narasimhulu a betrayer of the movement.
The TDP legislator came to Mothkur to lay the foundation for the Sthree Shakti building.
The police arrested the TJAC and TRS activists even as local TDP leaders attacked them. TRS Mandal secretary Yakoob Reddy was injured in the attack by TDP leader Megha Reddy.
