The BRS senior leader and MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha has been appointed the national Chairman of Bharat Scouts & Guides. Agency director Rajkumar Kaushik issuing the statement to this effect has said she would hold the office for one year.
She had earlier acted as the state level Commissioner in 2015 and won accolades organising various social activities. Kavitha was also associated with the SCCL employees union TBGKS and did her bit for the welfare of the workers.
