The Telangana IT minister Mr K T Rama Rao expressed his happiness as the Canada-based pharma company chose Hyderabad to set up its facility in Hyderabad. Inaugurating the facility, the minister said the company had surveyed various locations and finally zeroed in on Hyderabad. It would be investing Rs 250 crore and provide employment to nearly 200 people.
The facility envisages catering to solid oral dosage forms, powders, topical, nasal delivery, and liquid oral pharmaceutical products.
Mr Rama Rao said Genome Valley and Pharma city are the most preferred destinations of global pharma companies and the state government is ready to reach out to any need to facilitate them.
Jamp Pharma SVP Sukhand Juneja, Industries Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, TSIIC vice-chairman and managing director Narasimha Reddy, Life Sciences director Shakti Nagappan and others were present.
