KCR kit scheme achieves a milestone.

The scheme meant for pregnant women and to encourage institutional deliveries has achieved a milestone benefitting 10 lakh women in the state.
The scheme was launched on June 3 in 2017. It saved Rs 4,500 crore hospital expenses for the poor and the government spent Rs 1,700 crore. On an average delivery at a private hospital costs rs 40,000.
The Telangana government has been giving Rs 12,000 for male baby Rs 13,000 for female baby and 16 varieties of things such as powder, oil, soaps, mosquito net among others, enough for three months to the newly born. The government has spent Rs 263 crore on these things.
The Telangana government also started a free ambulance service for pregnant women. It helped check the infant mortality rate that is significant.
The Tamilnadu government too replicated the scheme.
The chief minister Mr KCR’s pet welfare schemes are bearing fruit bringing joy to countless numbers of people. It was Rythu Bandhu the other and now these KCR kits have benefitted maximum population in the state and are hailed as best by one and all.
