The statement made by Union Minister Mr Kishan Reddy drew flak from ruling TRS party leaders over the Bayyaram steel plant.
The IT minister Mr KTR sought to know if it was the opinion on Mr Kishan Reddy or that of the union government. Meanwhile, Khammam MP Nama Nageswar Rao said Mr Kishan Reddy lacked knowledge. The Khammam district possesses rich natural minerals including iron ore. Somehow the centre is discriminating against Telangana that is unfortunate. Most unfortunate thing is that none of the BJP MPs are talking in favour of Telangana in Parliament. Instead of helping the state they are working against the interests of the state, he added.
