Kavitha promises to help Telangana University

Nizamabad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Friday assured the Telangana University (TU) students that the State government would take all measures to to launch engineering courses from this academic year. She promised to provide all necessary help to turn TU as number one university in the State.

Kavitha inaugurated the newly-constructed central library building and launched the Wi-Fi facility to the students. She laid the foundation stone for boy’s hostel building and participated in various programmes. Speaking on the occasion, Kavitha said the State government launched the Wi-Fi facility for the first time in Telangana University and urged the students that they should utilise it properly.

All the universities in Telangana had contributed brave soldiers to fight for the cause of separate statehood. The MP also said the university officials were preparing the master plan to development varsity and they would submit the plans to the State government and UGC to obtain necessary funds for the future development of it.

She further said the TU had signed an MoU with Chicago university of Americana and every year nearly 75 TU students would go to the US and study without GRE and TOEFL examinations. Kavitha also promised to ensure that digital library would be launched in the university.

TU Vice-Chancellor and Telangana State Agriculture Commissioner C Parthasarathi said all amenities were provided for the students in Telangana University. He appealed to the MP to adopt TU and develop it. Nizamabad Rural MLA Bajireddi Goverdhan, MLCs Aakula Lalitha, V G Goud, Nizamabad Mayor Aakula Sujatha, University Registrar R Limbadri and the students and staff took part in the programme..
