TDF Canada acting as liaison in bringing together two key institutions of Canada and Telangana

The objective is to connect Canada’s technological and research knowledge with Prof Jayashanker Telangana State Agricultural University for betterment of Telangana agricultural sector.

The representatives of Telangana Development Forum Canada (TDF Canada) have met with the Dean of University of Guelph and on August 12, 2015 to hand over the Expression of interest documents from Prof. Jayashanker State Agricultural University, Telangana.

This initiative is to set up collaboration in key areas of agricultural research, water management and livestock management. University of Guelph dean Dr. Deb Stacey was very impressed with the commitment of TDF Canada towards betterment of their home state and spoke at length of the various opportunities for collaboration at a University level in areas of Agriculture, Poultry, Water Management, Nutrition etc where there are recognized world leaders in research at University of Guelph.

The initiative paves the path for the VP of University of Guelph to identify steps to sign a MOU with the Prof. Jayashankar State Agricultural University in Telangana.

TDF Canada remains committed to the development of the newly founded Telangana state in any way possible and this step is another milestone reached by TDF Canada in establishing a strategic partnership which will result in tangible results starting with Workshops, Visiting Faculty followed by research and student exchange.

TDF Canada is proud to initiate this partnership between University of Guelph & Prof Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University and will strive for success in this initiative.

We sincerely thank the University of Guelph representatives Dr Deb Stacey and her team along with Dr. V Praveen Rao – registrar of Prof. Jayashankar Agricultural University for being willing to set up this partnership for development of Telangana.
