BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha has once again responded to the Delhi liquor policy case, stating that it is not a money laundering case but rather a political laundering case.
Kavitha spoke to the media in the court premises today, where the court granted her judicial custody of 15 days in the case filed under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. She was produced in the court as the Enforcement Directorate custody ends today.
Kavitha added that while one accused in the case had already joined the BJP, the other accused had received a BJP ticket. She also mentioned that one more accused had donated Rs. 50 crore to the BJP through electoral bonds.
Kavitha expressed confidence that she would come out clean and ruled out the possibility of becoming an approver.
