The state government plans to provide irrigation water to 33.65 lakh acres in the ensuing summer season. All the major and medium irrigation projects and tanks in villages are brimming with water.
The irrigation department is making all efforts to supply water to a total of 33,46,013 acres.
Under the irrigation projects, a total of 635.6 TMC of water as against the full capacity of 734.07 TMC was available.
The tanks in villages and reservoirs are full of water. It was all made possible with the vision of the chief minister Mr K Chandrasekhara Rao.
