Chief Minister KCR expressed his happiness at the setting up of International Arbitration and Mediation Center (IAMC) in Hyderabad. Chief Justice of India Justice NV Ramana, several judges and CM KCR participated in the IAMC conference held at HICC. Speaking on the occasion, the CM expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Justice of India, Justice N.V. He said that Hyderabad became an Emerging City. He said there was a conducive environment for all kinds of companies to set up industries and invest here.
He said that mediation in the judiciary has always been in the form of platforms like Rachchabanda in the country. The elders in the villages were reminded to set up panchayats and resolve disputes. However, the courts in the country are now of the view that due to lack of staff, most of the cases related to the industries are pending. He hoped that the establishment of the International Arbitration and Media Centers would expedite the resolution of disputes between industries and businesses. CM KCR said that 25,000 sq ft of land would be allotted immediately without any delay for setting up of Arbitration Center and land in Puppalaguda would be allotted soon for the permanent building.
