The Labour, Employment, Training and Factories Department of Government of Telangana in a GO released on 28 January, 2016 specified that the employees of IT / ITES Industry and the employees working in continuous process Industries may avail half day holiday to cast their vote in GHMC elections to be held on 2 February, 2016. The half day so used will be treated as a paid holiday, the GO said. You can find the copy of the GO below.
