The Congress and BJP neglected the farmers. Both parties turned agriculture into a costly vocation. They discouraged farmers by removing subsidies and hiking prices. But the BRS will strive for welfare of farmers
There has been a tremendous response to the BRS party from various states including Andhra Pradesh. Several local leaders from Karnataka, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh are evincing interest in joining the new party under the leadership of Mr KCR.
The BRS would show the way. The BJP with its draconian farm laws and Congress with its negligence posed a threat to agriculture.
Farmers from 26 states visited Telangana and closeted with CM KCR and apprised him about the problems facing the farming community.
Telangana chief minister Mr KCR has a complete understanding of agriculture and would prove himself to be the friend of farmers.
It may be noted that Karnataka former chief minister Mr Kumara Swamy said if his party comes to power in the state, he would implement the TRS welfare schemes to farmers. There is a political vacuum in the country and the BRS has come at the right time.it is poised to prove its mettle ushering the country into a new era.
