Reviewing the ongoing construction works on the new Secretariat building, the chief minister Mr K Chandrasekhar Rao wanted the officials to stick to timing for the early inauguration.
He instructed Roads & Buildings minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy to follow it up on regular basis. Besides speeding up, focus on landscaping, security, and other ancillary buildings.
Mr Rao also asked the police to take steps in consultation with DGP Mr Mahender Reddy regarding the facilities required for the secretariat as they are taking tighter security measures. The police command control that is underway should be completed at the earliest and use the latest technology for 24-hour surveillance.
