The State government is planning to come up with a foolproof policy to help the children who lost their both parents during Corona pandemic. It would also take care of destitute and beggars are seen at traffic junctions. They would all be rehabilitated soon.

A Cabinet sub-committee chaired by Minister Satyavati Rathore held a meeting to formulate a policy for the government to take up the responsibility of caring for orphans in the state.

The meeting was attended by Ministers Mr K T Rama Rao, Ms Sabita Indrareddy, Mr Inrakaran Reddy, Mr Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Mr Talsani Srinivas Yadav, Mr Jagadish Reddy, Mr Gangula Kamalakar, and Planning Board Vice Chairman Shri Vinod Kumar.

The meeting discussed the issue at length. It was decided to set up some orphanages and allocate a dedicated budget for the purpose. The government would also rope in Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) and big corporate companies to harness their corporate responsibility fund to rehabilitate all the orphans and impoverished.
